Due to how diverse it is on my school you will never feel left out, you will always find a group or somebody that you can hang with. The school also have teachers that help you reach your future, it could be to college, military, culinary school, etc. What I don’t like about the school is that during winter you can see students carrying their big coats around the hallways since they don’t have a locker to put it. Also when I was tutoring a class during the summer some AC’s were not working making the room very hot. But aside from that I think there are a lot of opportunities in Truman Highschool

The school was good overall, no school is perfect. There could be more college readiness since freshmen year and far more reality being put in place. For ex: about scholarships and maintaining grades

I have a love hate relationship with this school. It is very full of culture because of its diversity. We have clubs that administer to this diversity, and hold events that celebrate different cultures. There is always something going on, although it’s hard know about these thing because they lack communication. This is Something they definitely need to work on. As for academics, we have a lot of classes and opportunities for people, this includes AP and honors classes and they also offer college classes as-well. They’re are various after school programs and sports extracurriculars. They are so many options it is hard for a person not to find what they are interested in. Along with academics I’ve learned more about life from the people in this school. Overall I fully recommend this school to any 8th grader. However, When I first came there were various stabbings but after that period we haven’t had such an event happen again. I believe they have made an effort to make the school safer.
