The Plot of The Dinner Table Detective

The Dinner Table Detective is the story of Reiko Hosho, the young daughter of the world-famous Hosho group. Reiko has set out on her own path as a rookie detective, and her boss at the Kunitachi Police Department is Kyoichiro Kazamatsuri.

As the two take on difficult cases, Reiko’s butler and driver, Kageyama is often rude to her but his instincts always lead them to the solutions they are looking for! But wait, they got to have dinner first. And that’s the plot of the upcoming anime.

This is not the first time the novel series has been adapted into another medium. From the live-action television drama to multiple stage plays, the story of Reiko has reached fans in various forms and received fairly good reviews from the audience.
