As the Radiologic Technology Program Director, the role involves ensuring the effectiveness of program operations, overseeing ongoing accreditation and assessment processes, and maintaining compliance with JRCERT standards and SACSCOC principles. Responsibilities extend to participating in didactic and/or clinical instruction as needed, obtaining/retaining clinical sites, and staying updated on the professional discipline and educational methodologies. The Program Director assumes a leadership role in the ongoing development and evaluation of the program, focusing on student engagement, fostering learning, and modeling professionalism to produce competently trained individuals ready for professional careers.
Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures and laboratory sessions.
Unrestricted American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography or the equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to engage students and facilitate active learning.
Commitment to staying abreast of developments in the field and integrating them into the curriculum.
