Christine Cavanaugh originated the role of Chuckie Finster with Rugrats' 1991 debut, and went on to voice the red-headed boy for 11 years. She departed the show in 2002, finishing her run on Dexter's Laboratory the following year. Cavanaugh, who retired from acting in the early 2000s, passed away in December 2014 at the age of 51.
